Next time you are planning a mailing, ask yourself if it could be reused online. If this is the case, do it. Get your information out there. Following these tips can help you grab new customers and help keep old ones. After all, the reason you're sending the mailing is to grab attention, right?
Some SEO tips to keep in mind
One of the things that I always council clients and even programmers on is how to generate higher search engine placement. This idea is called Search Engine Optimization (SEO). While there are a lot of different factors that are considered by search engines, especially Google, there is one factor that sticks out. New, keyword rich content will constantly help raise your rankings. Of course, this can be somewhat of a challenge to develop new content for their web site on a daily basis.
Press Releases
There are some items that companies use, that you can easily convert to the web. For example, your company sends out press releases. You can repurpose these press releases to be released as a newsletter via the web. These press releases can include anything from site promotions to new products to new company additions.
Newsletters
If your company sends a monthly newsletter to it's clients or subscribers, you can use that information in the newsletter to republish on your web site for people to read. Having this constantly updating information not only helps your search rankings, it gives visitors a reason to revisit your website. If visitors don't have a reason to visit your site, they won't.
